Committed to serving the community he loves, David founded Hoffman Law Firm in April 2007. His one-room office on Carriage Lane in the West Ashley area of Charleston has grown into a thriving law firm, now conveniently located in North Charleston, SC.

From the very start, David’s  goal has been to provide personalized service to clients. This approach has earned real results on our clients’ behalf, ensuring they feel understood and valued each time they walk through our doors.

He speaks both Spanish and Italian, so a language barrier never stands between an accident victim and the justice they deserve. He also represents injured people from all walks of life and he has been doing just that for over two decades, since 1998!

David is a proud South Carolina native, with deep roots in our community. He grew up and attended high school in Mount Pleasant, SC before graduating magna cum laude from The Citadel in 1991. He then began a career in public service before pursuing his law degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he graduated with honors.

As an active member of the community he calls home, David gives back by supporting organizations like Abby’s Friends, The American Heart Association, Kids’ Chance, Charleston Academy of Musical Theatre, Susan G. Komen, Camp Happy Days, Darkness to Light,  Trident Literacy Association and more! He is also a sponsor of the Charleston Scottish Society’s Annual Scottish Games, an event that benefits the Ronald McDonald House.
