Our Fees
Unlike some law firms, we’re not afraid to list our fees. Like everything else in life, the phrase, “You get what you pay for” generally applies to legal services as well. So, this is what we typically charge:
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy - $1,499 or $250 per hr., whichever is greater.
Includes:
Pre-filing consultation, preparation of petition, schedules & statements, appearance at Meeting of Creditors and follow-up as necessary to address any questions of the Trustee or U.S. Trustee.
Does not include, but available at additional cost:
Lien satisfaction or clearance, actions relating to Fair Debt Collection Practices Act or other federal or state law violations by creditors, defense or prosecution of adversary proceedings brought by or against you, contested matters for which attorneys’ fees are not typically recoverable from adversary.
Creditor Services:
Foreclosure of Mortgage—$2,500 Minimum based on $225 per hour, plus costs and expenses.
Replevin of Collateral—$1,200 Minimum based on $225 per hour, plus costs and expenses.
Collection of Money Debts—$1,000 Minimum based on $200 per hour, plus costs and expenses.
Receiverships—$5,000 Minimum based on $225 per hour, plus costs and expenses.
Chapter 128—Same as for Receiverships
Pre-Bankruptcy Advice and Planning will be charged on a hourly basis at the rate of $250 per hour, plus travel and other costs and expenses, unless otherwise included in flat-fees for services quoted above, or as otherwise agreed.
Minimum Payments Must Be Paid Prior to Services Being Rendered, with periodic payments following as charged within 30 days of billing.
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy—$2,500 or $250 per hr., whichever is greater.
Includes:
Same services as Chapter 7, plus preparation and filing of Chapter 13 Plan, plus one amended plan, if necessary.
Does not include:
Same exclusions as Chapter 7, plus additional amended plans or modifications after the first amendment or modification.
