Attorney Mel Hoffman, founder and owner of the company, has been a bankruptcy practitioner in the La Crosse area for over a quarter of a century.
During his career, he has assisted hundreds of individuals find relief from burdensome debts and obligations along with representing large and small businesses in providing advice and services in a wide variety of bankruptcy matters.
Since 1987, he has also been a member of the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee panel who oversee Chapter 7

Mel’s law practice has always included time for service to the community and to others. In that spirit, and given the state of the economy these last months, Mel decided to construct a business model based on offering high-quality, professional Chapter 7 bankruptcy services at a significant discount from his usual charges.
Mel will be the first to admit that this service isn’t for everyone. Sometimes, the issues are too complex to be handled in this manner. But if he determines that to be the case, he will let you know as soon as possible and refund any money you may already have paid if you decide to seek legal services elsewhere.
Along with Mel, our office includes his wife, CJ Hoffman, who is his legal assistant and with whom you will primarily deal.
